Real Quiet training for sweep
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Preakness champion Real Quiet is back at Churchill Downs, where he won the Kentucky Derby.
This time, the colt will be training for his bid to complete a sweep of the Triple Crown by winning the Belmont Stakes on June 6.

Going too fast to the Derby
SEYMOUR, Ind. (AP) -- State police patrolling Interstate 65 issued more than 300 speeding tickets to motorists, many of them bound for the Kentucky Derby.
The enforcement blitz Friday and Saturday brought saturation coverage to Bartholomew and Jackson counties, a stretch that begins 130 kilometres north of Louisville, Ky., and continues southbound for 72 kilometres.

Derby special: Baffert on a roll

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- If the tip of the nose of one of his horses was a few inches longer, he would have trained three Kentucky Derby winners in a row. If another of his horses had run four strides faster over a combined distance of four miles last summer, he would have his Triple Crown already.
Still, there is no denying Bob Baffert is on a roll.
