Fantasy Recap: June 3
By CHRIS NICHOLS -- SLAM! Sports
Calgary 3 Tampa Bay 2 OT (Calgary leads series 3-2)
Jarome Iginla delivered another monster performance for his Flames team Thursday night and his goal and assist leaves his domination at 22 points and 91 SOG. Thanks to ABC/ ESPN for this stat: Iggy has now scored 10G, 4A in 10GP after a loss in these playoffs - if that's not a leader, I don't know what is... Martin Gelinas scored his second goal of the series and eighth of the post-season... This OT GWG was the first goal for Oleg Saprykin since the Vancouver series... Craig Conroy went his fourth straight game without registering a point and lost more than half of his face-offs Thursday... Miikka Kiprusoff has only given up eight goals in five games in this series; four of them came in one game... Nik Khabibulin made some incredible saves Thursday night, but he had trouble with a few rebounds, including Iginla's blast which led to the GWG in overtime... The Dave Andreychuk point machine cranked out another assist in Game Five, giving him 14 points in his last 15 games... The assist for Brad Richards (And what a nice play it was) gives him 22 points and he's the likely Tampa winner of the Conn Smythe if the Lightning can win two straight games... Chris Dingman had a heck of a game and he was rewarded with an assist; only his second point of the post-season... Freddie Modin's goal gives him 3G, 2A in his last 11Gp after a blistering start to the playoffs with 5G, 8A in his first 10GP... Martin St. Louis had a goal and now has 22 points, tying him with Richards for the team lead.
