London-Fanshawe Liberal MP Pat O'Brien will lead a hearing into a death aboard a Canadian submarine and what he said is the decaying state of our Armed Forces. O'Brien, elected this week to chair the House of Commons standing committee on national defence and veterans affairs, will ask committee members Monday to launch hearings he promises will be as comprehensive as any since the Somalia inquiry.
