Twinning plan backed

Sri Lankan relief leaders have given initial support to a plan by an informal London group to help rebuild the coastal city of Galle in the tsunami-stricken country, says a London organizer. "They were supportive, especially for long-term help," Shanthi Radcliffe, former head of the London InterCommunity Health Centre, said yesterday. "They have said they have the resources and would provide the logistical support. We expect concrete information in a week."
