Age: 9 (she turns 10 tomorrow)

Grade: 4

School: St. Marguerite d'Youville

Position: Midfielder/striker

Highlights: Nor'West soccer club's top female player award. Nicknamed Digger because she works so hard. Season average of three goals per game, scoring four goals in two games. She played on a team where some girls were two years older. She scored 11 goals in four games during a tournament in 2002. Several MVP nods at tournaments and games in past couple of years. She scored the winning penalty kick during a Nor'West championship game in which she was also the goalkeeper in 2001.

This year: The North London Pulsars under-10 girls' team, which plays in the under-10 intermediate boys' division.

Future: She would like to play on a national team.

Scouting report: She has determination, endurance, good ball distribution and a hard kick. She also has a great work ethic and can read the entire field.

Quote on soccer: "I like soccer because it's a fun sport."
