LOUISE MILLER Age: 13

School: Plover Mills public school

Grade: 8

Position: Midfielder

This year: Plays for Forest United Flames under-14 team in the South Region league

Highlights: Captain of Forest United team; scored in a shootout last year as her Forest United under-13 team won the Ontario Cup; team won seven tournaments last year and didn't lose a league game; won the London and District Youth Soccer League Challenge Cup and Ohio tournament in a shootout with North London in 2000.

Future: Will be attending Medway high school where she hopes to play soccer. Would like to win this year's Ontario Cup and advance to the national tournament in Halifax. Team plays its first Ontario Cup games this weekend in Sarnia.

Scouting report: Miller provides leadership by example. She has good speed and is fit.

On shootout goal: "I was really nervous. I was the fifth player to shoot and if I didn't score and they scored, they would have won."
