The New Zealand Black Sox raised the profile of softball in their country by beating Canada for the world softball championship title Sunday at home in Christchurch. But the host team's relationship with the rest of the international softball community is in danger amid charges the Black Sox stole their opponents' signals with a well-placed video recorder.
