QUOTE: "This modern adaptation of the Romeo & Juliet story seemed a timely choice, given its powerful message about the importance of struggling to maintain love in a world filled with hatred and violence. Its confrontation of issues like prejudice and discrimination highlight the need to overcome cultural conflict." -- Co-director Luci Clark
