NEW YORK -- The fur is flying over Miss Canada's plan to wear seal skin and fur at Monday's Miss Universe Pageant in Panama. New York designer Marc Bouwer, who once used furs in his creations but now uses none, has written to Leanna Cecile offering her one of his faux fur coats to wear instead.

Cecile has said she may wear a floor-length wedding gown in white sealskin and fox fur by Nunavut designer Dolorosa Nartok, shown at an April fur exhibition in Montreal.
