ON THE BOARDS THE PLAY: Blind Dates, by Anna Furstenburg; a Strathroy district collegiate institute production directed by Rebecca Surman; featuring Amy McNeill, Sarah Sprague, Jen Gibson, Justin Pereira, Jeff Ferguson, Jason Pereira, Courtney Phillips
THE PLOT: Fear of the future is the theme in this play, a series of scenes and monologues in which teenage characters ask questions about post-secondary studies, careers, relationships, the environment, politics and, most importantly, themselves.
QUOTE: "The voices that emerge in this play are real Canadian ones that teenagers will relate to. The show looks at teen issues in a refreshingly intelligent and funny way, showing young people who are aware of the world they live in and who are actively pursuing their place in it." -- director Rebecca Surman
