Never tire of showing off pictures of your baby? Here's your chance to show them far and wide -- and help Children's Hospital of Western Ontario.
Captured Moments is a baby photo contest being held by the London magazine Mom & Caregiver.
Parents or guardians are invited to send in a photograph of their child. A panel of judges, including London Free Press columnist Ian Gillespie and copy editor Dave Mauchan, will choose 12 little winners.
The winning children will then be photographed by professional photographer Paula Tizzard and those pictures will make up a 2004 calendar. Proceeds from calendar sales will go to the hospital's foundation.
"We always have people sending us photos for our front cover and I thought, 'Hey, let's take it to the next level,'" said Mom & Caregiver editor, publisher and owner Sabina Manji.
The child depicted in the photos submitted by parents or guardians must be no older than 36 months now. But the photo can be taken at any time prior to now.
Only amateur photographs will be accepted for submission. No professionally done photographs will be allowed.
Winners must be available for the photo session with Tizzard between July 15 and Aug. 15.
Entry forms are available at many businesses and agencies serving children.
Entries must be postmarked by July 1 and sent to Mom & Caregiver, P.O. Box 29118, 785 Wonderland Rd. S., N6K 4L9 or dropped off at Adventures on Wonderland or Toys R Us.
