Schremp named OHL Player of the Week
Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Rob Schremp of
the London Knights is the OHL Player of the Week after scoring five
goals and five assists for 10 points in three games last week.
Schremp was the first star with two goals and an assist in a 5-4
shootout win over the Erie Otters on February 3. He added a goal and two
assists in a
6-2 win over the Kingston Frontenacs on February 4 and was the first
star again after scoring two goals and two assists in a 7-2 win over the
Mississauga IceDogs on February 5.
The 19-year-old from Fulton, New York extended his point scoring streak
to
16 straight games dating back to December 16. During that span, he has
scored 13 goals and 40 points. Schremp is the OHL's scoring leader with
43 goals and 70 assists for 113 points in 41 games.
