D'Agostini named OHL Player of the Week
Toronto - The Ontario Hockey League today announced that Matt D'Agostini of the Guelph Storm is the OHL Player of the Week for the week ending Sunday April 23 after scoring two goals and six assists for eight points in three playoff games.
D'Agostini started the week with an assist in Guelph's 5-3 loss to the London Knights in Game 1 of the Rogers Western Conference Championship Series on April 20. He scored two goals and added three assists in a 7-1 win in Game 2 on April 21 and picked up two assists in a 3-2 overtime loss on April 23.
D'Agostini has six goals and 14 assists for 20 points in eight playoff games. The 19-year-old from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario scored 25 goals and 54 assists for 79 points in 66 regular season games this season.
