OHL announces disciplinary action to London's Josh Beaulieu

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of its review of an incident which occurred in the game played in London on Friday, September 2nd, 2005 between the London Knights and the visiting Sarnia Sting involving player Josh Beaulieu of the London Knights Hockey Club.

The incident in question involved player Josh Beaulieu instigating an altercation and physically interacting with an unwilling opposing player.

In making the announcement, Commissioner Branch stated that "the League has been very clear with respect to the concerns regarding "bullying tactics" and we are of the opinion that player Beaulieu's actions have no place in our game and we must all work to eliminate these type of bullying tactics from our game".

"It is the position of the Ontario Hockey League that player Josh Beaulieu of the London Knights Hockey Club be suspended for the first five (5) regular season games of the London Knights Hockey Club".
