LONGUEUIL - The Prefect of Discipline of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, Mr Maurice Filion, imposed today a suspension of two games to Martin Mandeville of the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

This sanction follows the incident that occurred in the February 15 game when the Drakkar was visiting the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

Before rendering his decision to number 44 of the Drakkar, Mr Filion reviewed the videotape and read the doctor's report.

The two games suspension was given in consequence of charging after the whistle on number 12 of Rouyn-Noranda, Guillaume Desbiens.

This suspension comes into full force today, Tuesday February 22, 2005.

Accordingly to the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, Mr Filion will not be available for further comments.
