CBC labour problems force changes to Brier
EDMONTON (CP) -- Labour problems at CBC have forced the Canadian Curling Association to change the schedule for the Labatt Brier playoffs in preparation for TSN taking over broadcast rights.Saturday's semifinal will now be played at 4 p.m., EST and Sunday's final will be at 2 p.m., EST.
If CBC has not solved its labour dispute by Thursday, TSN will broadcast the final.
TSN provided coverage of the Scott Tournament of Hearts final in February when CBC could not.
