    Background

     A member of the Canadian bobsled team's Guyanian connection, Ian Danney proved himself to be the most versatile member of the national team, and probably most valuable, after bouncing around between all three drivers last year.

     This season, Danney, 27, is looking for a permanent home on Chris Lori's crew. When Lori's brakeman Sheridan Baptiste was injured early last season, Danney stepped in as a replacement and at the Calgary World Cup stop helped pushed Lori to his best result of the season, a fourth-place finish in the two-man event.
