    Sakic could miss semi

By AL STRACHAN -- Toronto Sun

Although Team Canada had an easy time against Kazakhstan, the win may have been costly.
Centre Joe Sakic was limping badly when he left the rink after injuring his knee in a collision with Kazakh forward Dimitry Dudarev.
Sakic, who shares point duties with Al MacInnis on Canada's first power-play unit, said that he wouldn't know the extent of the injury until Team Canada's practice today. However, the team will take no chances and Sakic may miss the semi-final game against the Czech Republic. He could even be out for the final.
Numerically, the loss is not a great concern. In Olympic competition, a team is allowed to dress 22 players compared to 20 in the NHL.
