    Competition features future skating stars

     TORONTO (CP) -- Jonathon Savaria of Marieville, Que., and Ashley Jacobs of Smithers, B.C., won the juvenile men's and women's singles crowns, respectively, at the national Tomorrow Champions figure skating competition for juvenile and pre-novice figure skaters.
     Daniel Miller of Windsor, Ont., finished second in the men's event. Kyle Postmus of Prince George, B.C., was third.
     Stephanie Stachan of Calgary placed second in the juvenile women's event. Emilie Chasse of St-Etienne-de-Lauzon, Que., was third.
     Kristen Avis of Nanoose Bay, B.C., won the women's pre-novice.
     Brittany Wold of Sicamous, B.C., and Adam Jones of Enderby, B.C., won the juvenile pairs, with Taylor MacIntosh and Ryan Arnold of South River, Ont., second. Nellie Fotopoulos of Ste-Dorothee, Que., and Dimitri Zoumboulakis of Chomedy-Laval, Que., were third.
     Annie Laurie and Lukas Laurie of Comox, B.C., won the pairs pre-novice.
     The juvenile dance title went to Marina Zervogiannis and Julien Mercier of St-Laurent, Que., with Signe Barlow and Justin Dennis of Toronto second. Third was Siobhan Karam and Joshua McGrath of Ottawa.
     Mylene Girard of Repentigny, Que., and David Vaillancourt of Montreal won the pre-novice dance.
