    Canadian dance pair do well in debut

     HELSINKI (CP) -- Dance pair Christine Fuller of West Vancouver, B.C., and Mark Bradshaw of Aurora, Ont., finished fourth in their first international figure skating competition together on Sunday at the Finlandia Trophy event.
     Fuller and Bradshaw, both 20, were fourth after both their short and long programs behind gold medallists Albena Denkova and Maxim Staviyski of Bulgaria and runners-up Oksana Potdykova and Denis Petukhov of Russia and Angelika Fuhring and Bruno Ellinger of Austria.
     In the men's competition, Edmonton's Ben Ferreira, 19, struggled to eighth after a third-place performance in his short program.
     Annie Bellemaire, of St.-Eustache, Que., finished 10th in the women's competition. The 18-year-old was eighth after her short program.
     Russian Elena Sokolova captured the women's title and Dmitry Dmitrenko of Ukraine won the men's gold medal.
