De Wilde signs contract

 BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) -- Belgium's starting goalkeeper, Filip De Wilde, left Sporting Lisbon of Portugal to sign a three-year contract with Anderlecht.
 De Wilde had been Belgium's national goalie for the past three years but coach George Leekens threatened to bypass him for this summer's tournament after he was benched by his Portuguese club.
 "The World Cup has sped up the transfer," De Wilde said. "I didn't have a lot of time left if I wanted to reach another World Cup tournament."
