South Africa ties Zambia
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (AP) -- John Moshoeu's shot caromed into the
net off Shaun Bartlett in the 58th minute Wednesday night to give South Africa
a 1-1 tie against Zambia.
It was South Africa's first game under coach Philippe Troussier,
hired in March.
Zambia's Mathews Kamwashi, making his international debut, scored in
the ninth minute.
South Africa, which plays France, Denmark and Saudi Arabia in the
World Cup, next plays an exhibition game at Argentina on Monday.
