#Dollar Mountain: A Mountain of Firsts Bargain of the Season:
A Season Pass on Dollar Mountain for Only $100#
    -------------------------------------------------------------

SUN VALLEY, Idaho, Nov. 22/PRNewswire/ -- Surprise. Sun Valley
actually has two ski mountains. Baldy is the famous mountain
that Olympic Gold Medalist Picabo Street called, "the best
mountain I've ever skied." Dollar, the second, is a mountain of
firsts. Ideal for first-time skiers or boarders, beginners, and
those who want to practice their skills, Dollar boasts the site
of the first ski lift in the world, modeled after a banana
loader. But the real draw is the mountain's wide open face,
plus its unobstructed, gentle runs that make it an ideal setting
for families and for novice skiers alike.

Located a mere five minutes from the Sun Valley Lodge and Inn,
Dollar is the perfect area in which to learn, practice
technique, or just warm up stiff ski legs for a first day's run.
Smaller, and more low key than Baldy Mountain, Dollar is a
well-kept secret. The mountain, which is popular with the
locals, offers four chair lifts, 13 runs, and a total vertical
rise of 1,526 feet to its summit elevation of 6,638.

First-time and beginner skiers and boarders can head to Dollar's
school, which caters to all ages, from four years and older. A
well seasoned staff of world class instructors offers half-day
class lessons, as well as individual private instruction
especially well suited for first-time skiers. Lift ticket
prices are very reasonable, in fact, one can buy a pass for the
entire ski season on Dollar for only $100.00. Guests staying at
the resort and skiing on Dollar for a week can actually save
money by purchasing a season lift ticket. Sun Valley has kept
the price of lift tickets on Dollar to last year's level of
$22.00 for an adult full day and $16.00 for children age 12 and
younger. Because the lift lines don't exist here at Sun Valley,
skiers and boarders can maximize their practice time.

First-time skiers and boarders begin on the gentle
Quarter-Dollar run, graduating to Half-Dollar, and finally to
the full-mountain Dollar Run. Kids at Dollar have their own ski
school section set aside, both within Dollar Cabin Lodge -- the
mountain's day facility -- and the base area, where a special
play area helps pre-schoolers acclimate to skis. A "Tiny Tots"
program welcomes skiers from three years of age, while special
children's ski clinics are tailored for kids up to 12-years.
Complete day programs, including supervised lunch breaks, run
from 8:30 to 4:00 p.m. Snowboarder clinics for kids from 7 to
12 years help develop skills in this newest of winter sports.
