Country superstar Miranda Lambert is lending a slew of red carpet gowns, stage costumes and awards to the Country Music Hall of Fame for a special exhibition following a groundbreaking 2013.

The House That Built Me hitmaker enjoyed a stellar 12 months, and now she's bringing some of her most notable items to the country music mecca in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access exhibit will explore a year in the life of the singer, and will allow fans to get up close to her trophies, the costumes she wore during shows, and a host of other memorabilia.

A statement released by the excited star reads: "The Country Music Hall of Fame is a place to cherish what country music is all about, and I'm so honored to have an exhibit in this treasured hall."

She was a regular on the podium at awards shows throughout 2013 and claimed her fourth consecutive Female Vocalist of the Year title at the Academy of Country Music Awards, where she won a total of four prizes.

Miranda Lambert: Backstage Access opens on May 16 and runs until November 9.
