Royal Caribbean's liner Legend of the Seas, currently undergoing renovations in Singapore, will be back on the sea on May 6. The ship will set sail from Marseille, France for a Mediterranean cruise.

Passengers will discover new eating spaces, improved technology and new forms of entertainment.

The Legend of the Seas now has a Diamond Lounge for members of the Crown & Anchor loyalty program. It also boasts a Concierge Club space for passengers staying in suites and loyalty program passengers, as well as a Viking Crown Lounge with unique design and high-end dining options.

New family suites that can welcome up to six people have been added and a childcare service will help families make the most of their journey.

In terms of technology, all passengers will have access to the free WiFi. There will be flat screens and iPads in all the rooms.

The liner now is equipped with a cutting-edge digital global positioning and circulation system, first installed on the Oasis of the Seas, the world's biggest cruise liner.

From May 6 and throughout the summer, the Legend of the Seas will sail throughout the Mediterranean from Marseille. The liner will stop in Barcelona, Palma, Majorca, Valencia, Rome and Genoa during a seven-night cruise. Prices start at €499 (including all taxes) per person.
