Forgetful hotel guests leave all kinds of items in their rooms, from electronic devices to magazines, but a new survey reveals some more surprising finds.

Chargers for mobile phones and other electronic devices are the most common items left behind by guests (68%), ahead of clothes and shoes (21%), books and magazines (8%) and glasses (7%), according to a survey conducted by Choice Hotels.

Some finds were more surprising: 18% of hotel managers have already stumbled upon a sex toy and 15% found dentures. The most unusual finds were pet dogs, ocular and mammary prostheses, a wedding dress, a leg of lamb and a frying pan.

Choice Hotels Europe conducted the survey in July, interviewing 130 volunteers, hotel owners, and receptionists in the chain's hotels in the U.K., France, Germany and Italy.
