As many smartphone users know all too well, there are specific aches and pains that come along with constant use of the device. Recognizing this, three hotels in the Rocco Forte Group have begun offering a special massage designed to soothe these distinctly modern ailments.

Whether it's tension in the thumbs from composing too many text messages or neck spasms from hunching over a tiny screen, many smartphone users have experienced at least one of the ailments linked to overuse of mobile devices.

At the spa of the Charles Hotel in Munich, the La Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt and the Hotel de Rome in Berlin, smartphone users can experience some relief from these symptoms through the "Relax with no apps" massage.

The newly developed massage relieves tension and improves circulation in the shoulders, neck, hands, forearms and wrists: areas that are particularly vulnerable to cramps due to repeated, prolonged smartphone use. Spa-goers enjoy 25 minutes of relaxation to disconnect, both in the literal and figurative sense of the word.

The "Relax With No Apps" massage is available for 65 euros (around $89).
