Picturesque fishing villages, 325-km of gorgeous beaches and memorable sunsets make Mexico's Riviera Nayarit a beautiful backdrop for romance, so it's only natural that area hotels would have Valentine deals. These include:

-- In Punta de Mito, boutique Hotel Cinco has a four-night "Romantic Package" from about $1,400. The deal offers an oceanfront suite with rose petals and champagne upon arrival, private boat tour to the Marietas Islands and two 60-minute massages per person during the stay.
-- St. Regis Punta Mita Resort has a Spa Romance package with roses on arrival, a Night Spa experience with 60-minute couples' massage followed by an aphrodisiac dinner served by a private waiter. Prices from $750 per night for a garden-view room.
-- The luxury all-inclusive Grand Palladium and The Royal Suites Punta de Mita are also spreading the love with a Valentine's offer of 25% off accommodations and 15 % off spa treatments. MORE WAYS TO SAY 'I DO'
Just in time for Valentine's Day, Real Resorts has added new options to wedding packages at its properties on Mexico's Mayan Riviera.
Couples tying the knot at The Royal (Cancun and Playa del Carmen), Gran Caribe Real Cancun and Gran Porto Real Playa del Carmen can now choose from Jewish, Mexican and Catholic wedding ceremonies.

Rabbi services start around $1,200 but are free to couples who spend more than $4,000 on a wedding package. For the reception, the resort will prepare Kosher-style food or the couple can opt for a supervised kosher meal package.
At Real Resorts in Cancun or Playa del Carmen, there is a new Royal Catholic Wedding packages with services performed by a bilingual priest at the oceanfront Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel (in Cancun) or Our Lady of Carmen Chapel (in Playa del Carmen).
A Mexican Wedding package adds local flavours to celebrations with decorations, Mexican music during the ceremony, a margarita cocktail toast, a wedding reception for up to 30 guests with a Mexican trio and a wedding cake. The next morning there is a "Mexican" style breakfast in bed and a romantic in-suite dinner.
