Eurostar will morph temporarily into the love train on Valentine's Day, when couples will be wooed with a host of romance-inspired surprises.

On February 14, the high-speed train will treat passengers to exclusive upgrades, chocolates and mini bottles of Cava, while the departure lounges at London St. Pancras, Gare du Nord in Paris and Midi stations in Brussels will be outfitted with 'love' photo booths for couples who want to capture the beginnings of their romantic getaway.

The Orient-Express UK is also steaming things up with special Valentine's Day packages for couples aboard their British Pullman and Northern Belle trains which depart from London, Leeds and York, taking couples on rides through the English countryside.

A four-hour, round-trip ride from London Victoria, for instance, includes a five-course lunch with cocktails, Champagne, half a bottle of wine per person, and onboard entertainment for £465 (€546) per person.

A similar Valentine's Day trip out of Leeds costs £280 (€330).
