The Leading Hotels of the World, a consortium of the world's most luxurious hotels and resorts, has just taken on eight new members, including three located in Latin America.
Entering the prestigious collection are the Vines Resort and Spa in Mendoza, Argentina, the Country Club Lima Hotel in Peru and the Cayena-Caracas in Venezuela.
Three Italian establishments, the Hotel Il Pellicano, in Tuscany, La Posta Vecchia, in Rome, and the Grand Hotel Billia, in the Aosta Valley, have also joined the list.
The Leading Hotels of the World label has also been awarded to The Chedi Andermatt in Switzerland and to the Caneel Bay Resort, on Saint John, in the US Virgin Islands.
Considered one of the largest and most elite collections of luxury hotels and spas, The Leading Hotels of the World includes over 430 hotels and resorts in over 80 countries.
