The makers of the tallest waterslide in the world have released a video to give thrill-seekers a sneak peak at what it will be like to go down it when it finally opens later this year.

The slide is called Verruckt and it has been built at the Schlitterbahn Kansas City Waterpark.

Riders will sit in a four-person raft that will drop down the 168 foot, 7 inch slide (more than 51 metres). The raft will then travel up a hill before going down a second 50 foot (15.24 m) drop.

In the video, sandbags were used in a raft to simulate the ride, with a camera strapped onto the raft.
