If you've always fantasized about being a pilot, a new attraction opening August 28 just outside of Disneyland Paris could make your dreams come true.

Open every day of the week, the iFlight Simulator Val d'Europe allows visitors to take the controls of a virtual Airbus A320 commercial jet. Flight conditions are replicated using three high-definition projectors for an entirely immersive experience.

Real enough to train actual pilots, the simulator lets anyone try their hand at taking off and landing in one of the world's 24,000 airports.

Available to the general public as a recreational attraction, the simulator can also be used as a training tool for anyone who wishes to overcome a fear of flying. Five-hour sessions can be organized for nervous travelers wishing to familiarize themselves with the in-flight experience from takeoff to landing, including passing through zones of turbulence.

The iFlight Simulator is open Monday through Sunday from 9:00am to 11:00pm. Various sessions with different variables can be booked starting at €99 (around $130).
