They say that a dog is a man's best friend...except when he's at the bottom of your sleeping bag, stopping the insulation from working and making your feet cold.
Thankfully, the BarkerBag offers a solution. A handy 'side car' sleeping bag for canine campers, the invention zips onto a standard sleeping bag so that you can camp happily with your pooch and both stay warm.
The brainchild of Seattle-based Andy Storms, the project was recently successfully funded on Kickstarter and initial orders are expected to start shipping this summer.
Storms was inspired to create the design for use on his own hiking trips with his dog, Barker.
The BarkerBag comes in three sizes and features an adjustable collar to stop your pup from wriggling out during the night. Thanks to zippers on both sides, it can be attached to one single sleeping bag, or fit between two.
