Watched my first Leaf preseason game last night..quite enjoyable..
Bozak looks very impressive....great speed..great hockey sense..split the d and scored a beauty last night....he looks ready to me..
Stahlberg looks like he could be a steal....big kid with unreal speed...needs some polish..but he could be good one this year or next for the big club..
Kadri..again, great wheels...got outmuscled a few times but made some great plays....he'll have to work harder if he wants serious consideration from Wilson on making the big club..
On the veteran side...Toskala looked pretty good...moving well and his old acrobatic self..says he feels great....couldn't say the same about Joey Mcdonald who relieved Tosky have way through...he looked a little shaky..perhaps he was nervous playing his first game at home..
Loved Francois Beachimins game...just steady and solid...quietly picked up 2 assists on the Leafs goals..this guy has a stablizing presence...Exelby also played solid..it was also clear that nobody wanted to mess with him..
On the negative side..Tlusty looked slow and out of shape...I know Ian White is small but with all the big bodies around him you could really notice him playing small last night...they really should try him at forward..
More games Thurs,Friday and Saturday nite..all on LEAFSTV....

I went to the slicker tilt last night. Studly Wonderbomb broke an unofficial league record by breaking two panes of glass with his shot on consecutive shifts. Made up for it by scoring the GWG. Eberle looked very good. The kid is going to be good player in a few years. Dusty seems a lot lighter on his feet. Probably is down to around 300 lbs now. Scored a nice goal. He wasn't too happy when he was informed that the Leafs now serve 11 kinds of hot dogs at their games. A trade may be in the works. JT looked very slow. Heard he was sick, so will give him the benefit of the doubt.
