And in Vancouver.. he..
I think the reason why Foppa never has been accepted in Canada - as one of the top five best hockeyplayers ever- is that he is .. he is playing the game with more .. intensity aggression.. than 99,9 % of all Canadian stars... Thats kind of a threat to the Canadian identity

Knowledgeable hockey followers could provide you a list of many more who were better then Forsberg.
To say he is top 5 of all time is just out and out stupid.
He was a good centre maybe in the top 200 list but top 5 get a hold of your Swedish meatballs.
2. No one cares what he does. He had his good years and should have retired with grace and dignity. Instead he hangs on with a permanently impaired foot refusing to quit. What is that? You want me to heroworship some man who doesn't know when to hang it up? Why?
3. Take an anti-depressant. The long nights in Sweden have brought back your depression. If all you can do is spend your life lamenting over Forsberg its time you get help.
4. You are a raving homosexual. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But if I were you I would be obessing over some Swedish chick and not this has been.

Back to the subject now. Foppa has done eitght (8) points in three games since his return to SEK one week ago.
He IS back.
And Bengt Åke Gustafsson (coach of Tre Kronor) is already sure. Peter WILL play in the olympics

Holy crap!...I have to agree with Civil on this. He's not even NHL calibre anymore. Your Svedish Elite League maybe elite in Sweden, but doesn't have anything next to the NHL. Heck, your great "Monster" Gusty Gustavsson is learning this the hard way in the NHL. Shots are coming way faster than he's used to. I don't want to take anything away from him, but he got a rude awakening once he got to the real men's pro league, the NHL.
