Had to love that JR overtime goal!!! We were rocking and rolling the local bars that particular evening!!! JR can come across as an a$$hole sometimes, but I think hockey could certainly use a few more guys like him. I get tired of the same old tired answers during stoic player interviews. I mean, what"s the point of "we have to work hard and get the puck in deep"...WTF is that???

I think it is time for Stevens to go, but he probably won"t because they will now use injuries as a crutch(5 forwards out). The Colorado game on Monday was enough for me. They slept through the first two periods and decided to play in the 3rd, and then when they had the Avs on the ropes they let them off the hook with 2 stupid penalties at the end of the game!! To me that is all coaching!! By the way...Briere was suspended for 2 games for throwing his first check of the season!! Now he will never throw another check again.

Gotta love J.R. Most of what he says is true when you look past the bluster. Happy Thanksgiving, Philly. Don't eat too much turkey and don't accept any wooden nickels from blacks.
