 Vicky Bastarache played on the world championship team that qualified Canada for the Olympics, and the silver medal team at the 1999 Pan Am Games. She lists walking into the stadium for the beginning of the Pan Am Games as one of her most memorable moments in sport. She also hold the distinction of pitching a perfect game versus Denmark at the Pan Am qualifier in 1997. A softball player since the age of 12, she dreams of pitching in the final game at the Olympics in Sydney.
