Lyne Beaumont achieved a lifelong goal by making Canada's Olympic team for
the 2000 Games. She launched her synchro career at age eight and in 1995
at age 17 helped Canada win the gold medal in the team event at the world
junior championships. She was a member of Canada's bronze medal winning
teams at the 1997 and 1999 FINA World Cups and the fourth place squad at
the 1998 world championships.
