  Guard Cori Blakebrough played professionally in Germany, England and France from 1990-1999. She not only improved her basketball skills in Europe but also learned to speak French and German. She won a CIAU championship with the University of Calgary in 1989 and was all-Canadian the following season. She has three university degrees -- a bachelor of physical education, bachelor of education and a masters in science. She returned to Canada last year and teaches physical education at W.G. Murdoch School in Crossfield, Alta., to students from grade 6-12.
