Erin Chan helped her hometown Calgary Aquabelles to the national team title
in 1997 and a year later moved to Etobicoke to join Synchro Canada's Centre
of Excellence team in 1998. The 21-year-old has enjoyed international
success with team victories at the Swiss Open in 1997 and the Athens
Synchro in 1996. She's hoping to coach synchro in the future and plans to
pursue a university degree in architecture. Hardly surprising that
choreography development is Chan's favorite aspect in the sport.
