 Eric Hinrichsen played with Bree BBC of the first division Belgium league in 1999-2000 averaging eight points per game and eight rebounds per game. In university he was the CIAU men's basketball player of the year in 1997 and 1999 with the University of Victoria. He won the CIAU championship in 1997 and was also the tournament MVP. In 1995 he was the CIAU rookie of the year.
