Jagday started playing field hockey at 13 years old and has literally grown
up around the game. His father used to coach the Canadian national team
and now coaches for the U.S. In an interesting twist, he was coaching the
Americans when they were defeated by Canada at the 1999 Pan Am Games.
Ronni Jagday considers the Pan Am gold and the eighth place finish at the
1998 World Cup as his most memorable highlights. This third-year business
student at Simon Fraser University is keen to win a medal in Sydney then
concentrate on graduating.
