Mixed doubles: Bryan Moody, Calgary, and Milaine Cloutier, Granby, Quebec, lost 15-6, 15-13 to Michael Keck and Nicol Pitro, Germany in first round.
Brent Olynk, West Vancouver, B-C, and Robbyn Hermitage, Kitchener, Ontario, lost 15-9, 15-9 to Simon Archer and Joanne Goode, Britain in first round.
