Backstreet fraud
By Stephanie McGrath AllPop
A New Jersey man has been arrested for allegedly selling fake Backstreet Boys tickets.
Live Daily reported that William M. Cenneno was arrested for selling fake Backstreet Boys and Bruce Springsteen concert tickets through the eBay auction website.
Cenneno was under investigation by New Jersey's High Technology Crimes and Investigation Support Unit since Oct. 14.
On the 14th, police got a complaint from a Backstreet fan in California who sent ticket money to a New Jersey address for a Backstreet concert at Atlanta's Phillips Arena, but never got the tickets.
New Jersey police want anyone who sent money to buy Backstreet Boys or Bruce Springsteen tickets through eBay and haven't received tickets, to contact the High Technology Crimes and Investigation Support Unit at (609) 882-2000, ext. 2904.
