Canadian pop act Sky released their new album, "Travelling Infinity", on Nov. 14. The group used to be made up of Antoine and James, but James wasn't a fan of the spotlight and left to pursue his music privately.

Then, Anastasia joined Antoine for a new album, and together the two whole-heartedly jumped into the task of publicizing the record.

A heavy week of promotions gave Anastasia some of her first experiences with TV interviews, MuchMusic performances, and radio shows. She was amazed by it all and wanted to give Sky's fans a behind-the-scenes look at all the work it takes to promote an album.

This is the personal diary Anastasia kept during the lead-up to the release of "Travelling Infinity".

When I think back at the launch week and the making of the album, it seemed there were not enough days or even hours in a week. But in the end, it went "smooth like butter, baby".

Some of the most exciting moments were spent at the following places: Have you ever seen the inside of a radio station? Well, I hadn't until recently.

I must say that KISS 92 is a world of its own. The most wacky, unpredictable bunch of fun-going people I've ever met.

What's great about radio is that you could be reporting the news in your undies, and the audience would still take you seriously. I'm not saying that they do of course, but maybe it's not such a bad idea!

Next stop, MUCHMUSIC and MUCHMOREMUSIC... make-up, hair, sound check, lights, camera and in 5-4-3-2-1... no joke ... the track "YOU" was nailed and delivered before I could blink. At first, I saw myself running out of the building (of course I had a change of heart), but once the first chord was strummed, I knew that this is what I had been striving for my whole life. SING.

Now back to the interviews. Never in a million years did I think I would be doing so much yapping in one single day -- although each interview is slightly different from one another, and it helps when you enjoy meeting all sorts of people from different walks of life.

One second you're at CANOE chatting on the web, connecting with people all across Canada, the next you're up at 5 in the morning to perform on CANADA AM. What a day!

But that's not all... there's always more to say, more to do ... such as ENOW and BYNON, which I had the pleasure and opportunity to do.

SLEEP.
Awake to a restless stomach and a thousand thoughts racing through my mind, the launch is in a couple of precious hours and all I want to do is sing.

Upon arrival at the JOKER [where the record-launch party was held], it was make-up (again), sound check and a little meditating time with the band.

The crowd settles, the press investigated and the show begins.

What a night! The ice had broken and the songs are in the pocket. I am happy, cheery, restless, on top of the world.

And so the week comes to an end with who else but MIKE BULLARD and an in-store at the new HMV. What can I say about Mr. Bullard ...

I love him 'cause he's just like my mom. He enjoyed us so much he even came to HMV and missed our performance by a hair ... oh well, moments and positive feedback like that from him and the fans made it all worth it!
