While many people struggle to find work in a post-recession economy, a new report has found a silver lining: 46% of Canadians under 35 have found their "dream job."
What's more, 65% said they look forward to work each day, and 70% feel valued at their job.
The Pollara survey found job satisfaction is more common among high-income earners, but it's not exclusive to them. About 58% of people earning less than $50,000 a year said they look forward to work each day and 41% said they'd found their dream job. Among higher-income earners, those numbers are 69% and 51%, respectively.
Pollara surveyed 1,005 Canadians between July 12-16. The poll, conducted for BMO, has a margin of error of 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20.
