Yasin Hamza, a 19 year old from North Toronto, contacted Completing the Circle for guidance with his job-search efforts. As a result, the youth employment centre registered him for their two-week program that provides youth 15-30 with job-search skills.
"All the services that were provided at Completing the Circle were great," Hamza said. "I really felt that all the employees working there were determined to help me find a job.
"They constantly provided me with job postings, showed me effective ways to write a resume and cover letter, and coached me on proper interview skills and many other essential skills that are needed to find and get hired for a job."

Within a week of completing the program Hamza secured work as a customer care agent with Globe Ground at Pearson International Airport.
"I was surprised when [job developer] Mohamud offered to take me to the airport because I felt that everyone had already done so much for me, and to actually go the extra step and offer to take me to the workplace, it was very unexpected," Hamza said.
When asked if he feels the job search programs work Yasin replied, "I definitely feel that I would not have been offered the opportunity with Globe Ground without the guidance I received from Completing the Circle."
