Day 4: Prince George Concert Review
REVIEW BY: TANIA MOORE

The great thing about Hip concerts is that the music speaks for
itself. From Music @ Work through to the Encore fans were given what they
came for. If you had to use one word to describe The Hip it would be
"Artists". The music speaks for itself. This is proven when you scan the
audience.
Throughout the whole show people were on their feet dancing and
singing with Gordon. It's also reflected in the multi-generational
audience. You see parents with their teenagers singing in unison to oldies
like "New Orleans Is Sinking" to recent ones - and one of my personal
favourites - "Stay". The Hip, through their music, lyrics and stage
presence unites generations.
Was driving 5 hours to and then having to drive 5 hours back home worth all
of this? HELL YEAH!!!! Thanks guys, for a great evening and a lifetime
full of memories. I look forward to seeing you again.

Winning Entry
I went to Australia last year and took a backpacking bus tour called "Oz Experience".
I stayed in Melbourne for a week with some friends prior to departing for Cairns to work my way back down to Sydney. My friend had asked me who my favourite band was. Being Canadian with great taste in music I had to say The Tragically Hip. I brought some CDs along with me but didn't want to part with them for the rest of my month there.
I spent the better part of my trip looking in stores trying to find the perfect CD to send back to Melbourne so he'd know exactly what I was talking about. I finally found a CD in Sydney of The Hip live in Detriot.
I've converted many a people in the land 'Down Under' to this great Canadian band.
