Reporting back stage from THE HIP..............
Driving through a snowstorm, we made it. Icy roads, brought us
trepidation. Was this a scam or are we really going to meet The Hip. So
arriving in a gust of snow, it was true. We walked through the halls of
the arena, waiting for an echo of Courage or New Orleans is Sinking and the
only thing that was sinking was the reality that this was really happening.
The HIP totally rocked on the largest rock in Canada - SUDBURY. Gordie
revealed as always, his completely erotic moves. There is an amazing way
that the HIP moves a crowd. One moment the crowd is on their feet to Music
at Work and the next minute they have you mesmerized with Grace Too.
Rapture and delight elated us as Gordie dedicated Nautical Disaster to two
beautiful Ojibway Woman (that was us).
Wondrous sounds and movements danced throughout the arena and we captured a
little part of it, while wonder filled our heads. Hip fans the night was
ours, the night was yours.
Chi-Meegwetch - Thanks guys, hope to see you all on the Pow Wow trail.

Ahnee.....
HIP ROCK'N ON THE LARGEST ROCK ......SUDBURY !!!!
Wooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I feel that I would be the most exciting and adventurist journalist that JAM! would have !!!
Ahhh why ? Well as a total HIP fan I have been to Roadside Attraction in Barrie 3 times and have seen the HIP in total 6 times.
Now for a small town Rez girl. I think with my wild ways I would give JAM! some amazing footage AND ....I have an amazing COUSIN....who is a struggling filmmaker/writer who with her years struggling and my years backing her we would show you a First Nations Ojibway women's perspective of what the hip means to aboriginal people and to canada !!!
Yes I think i speak for most rock'n Nishnabe"s (native people) when I say the Hip rock !! And being in the largest rock town..... Sudbury I mean... literally what better that having two beautiful Ojibway woman host on JAM!s behalf !!!
We have some wonderful ideas for them to use....experience in film producing/writing/editing and the power to rock !!
See ya at the show !!!
