- Evil Roy Slade released its first album in 1993 and has since relocated to Vancouver and put out its second CD EP, Heat. Quickly becoming a band to watch for, it continues to secure accolades from print and radio across the country. "Like tightly packed dynamite, they create through volume, intensity and strong original songs, a wall of musical noise. There's no sense of compromise, of selling out," said Maev Brennan.
